About Ashleigh
He may be a multi-award winning real estate agent, but Ashleigh has his feet planted firmly on the ground. The fourth generation orchardist is known for his versatility, honesty and integrity. From a young age, Ashleigh worked on the Gladysdale family orchard run by his great grandfather, grandfather and finally his father before joining his wife, Lyndal, in her family real estate business in 2001. Ashleigh quickly made his mark and continues to excel. The natural communicator won his first Professionals award in 2004 and has added to it almost annually since. But he never rests on his laurels, regularly attending training courses and conferences to hone his industry knowledge. In 2012, Ashleigh completed his full real estate licence, cementing his position as one of the area’s most qualified and experienced agents. He believes his high ethical standards and respectful communication with all clients have helped him achieve such a high standard. Life is a whirlwind for Ashleigh, but he wouldn’t have it any other way. He and Lyndal have three children and run a 40 acre beef cattle farm, with horses, in Wesburn. When he isn’t tending cattle or selling properties, Ashleigh plays golf & basketball. He is a member of the Warburton Golf & Sporting Club & the Upper Yarra Garden Club. Ashleigh also follows Richmond in the AFL. I’ve lived in the valley all my life, he says. That also helps in being able to sell the lifestyle here. It’s so good to be able to tell them about a school or a river, the walking trails or the golf club. Ashleigh loves his job. I like the fact that it’s different every day, he says. You’re dealing with different people and selling so many different kinds of properties.
