Yarra Junction Pride Cup celebrates diversity and inclusion in sport for the lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual and intersex (LGBTI) communities by tackling homophobia in Australian Rules Football.
The Yarra Glen Football Netball Club and the Warburton Millgrove Football Netball Club will play for the 2015 Pride Cup on Sunday 17 May 2015.
What started out in 2014 as celebration match between traditional rivals Yarra Glen and Yarra Junction has turned into a strong symbol for inclusion in Australia’s favourite sport.
The 2015 Pride Cup will be held on Sunday 17 May 2015 at Yarra Glen Recreation Reserve to mark International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO).
