OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NATIONAL BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION
We are proud to be associated with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), the country’s leading community-funded organization dedicated to raising money for breast cancer prevention and cure. Since 1994, NBCF has worked tirelessly to advance this cause, and donated over $100 million to more than 300 cancer research projects nationwide. NBCF’s wide-spectrum research focus encompasses getting to the root of the disease and psychosocial interventions aimed at improving survivors’ quality of life.
As NBCF’s Diamond Partner, we have raised well over $4million and counting, to help achieve the organization’s vision of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. The funds collected have been carefully and wisely allocated by NBCF towards projects, and helped achieve results such as earlier diagnosis, better treatment and better quality of life. We are committed to continuing our association with the National Breast Cancer Foundation for many more years to come.
HOW DO WE RAISE FUNDS?
Professionals Yarra Valley with offices in both Yarra Junction & Warburton donate a portion of every house sale to NBCF’s fund pool. We also hold fund-raising activities throughout the year but mainly in NBCF month, October. Every October our office raises money to help raise awareness of this huge issue.
It’s a great feeling to know that with every sale, we are inching close to our shared goal of zero fatalities from breast cancer by 2030. As a Professionals client, you are a stakeholder in our fund-raising efforts. We welcome you to make a donation at any professionals office near you. You can also buy pink ribbons from our office to spread breast cancer awareness and show your support towards this cause.
